Have you ever seen dancers spontaneously gathering in a circle on the dance floor when a specific song comes on? Now you have the chance to join in with confidence and learn all the steps.
The Shim Sham is danced both in small local communities and at large swing dance events, and it’s a lot of fun to be part of.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the Shim Sham step by step, but also small variations, so you can make the Shim Sham your own. It’s perfect for beginners because it uses simple, repeating rhythms and helps you build timing, coordination, and confidence. By the end, you’ll be able to join dancers around the world in performing this fun and historic routine together.
